    My daughter and her young family recently moved into Stonybrook South in Omaha.
    It's an absolutely great area of town, so close to grocery stores, shopping, parks and not difficult to get to from I-80!

    They are really enjoying living in Omaha! I would recommend this neighborhood to anyone moving to the Omaha area in the future!

    A Neighborhood for Creating Strong Bonds
    This was our third (of six) subdivisions where we have lived in Omaha. There is not another subdivision where I have lived that can compete with the strong sense of community that exists among the neighbors. I lived there about 15 years ago and, at that time, they had an Easter Egg Hunt, a 4th of July Parade and a Christmas Light Contest. When I talked to a resident a couple of years ago, I learned they were still doing those events. Neighbors take great pride in their yards, the park is awesome and the fire station in the neighborhood provides a strong sense of security. The interstate is just a hop, skip, and a jump away, and at the end of a hard day, you can enjoy a burger and a shake at Don and Millie's which is on the corner. The price range of homes runs $150,000 - $250,000.
