Brian Happel

Brian Happel is a Cedar Valley native. As such, he epitomizes all the traits that Iowans hold dear: integrity, energy, hard work, and creative service in every detail. With a family business specializing in construction and real estate development for over 50 years, Brian got his first taste of quality home construction at age 10, when he started helping in the family business by sweeping floors in spec houses. Having such a strong foundation in all aspects of real estate, Brian brings a unique perspective, incredible attention to detail, and an extensive knowledge base to the real estate industry.
Brian is a family man with a devotion to God and his three adventurous boys. An athlete by nature, Brian played rugby for 13 years for University of Northern Iowa, the Arlington Mavericks in Texas, and the Bremer County Bucks in Waverly, Iowa. In the summer, Brian enjoys biking, kayaking, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his boys fishing and at the family farm. In the fall Brian can be found sitting in a tree with his bow, waiting for a deer to walk by.
After travelling the US as a motivational speaker, talking to and training groups of people about personal development, Brian is well-versed in communicating and appealing to all client bases. Brian has built strong relationships with several lending institutions so he can help guide you to the best options in the Cedar Valley. Brian uses his experience and foresight to proactively address details before they become a problem. Brian works with all parties to make sure your real estate transaction is as smooth as possible from the first phone call all the way to the close.
