I grew up in the charming Northeast Iowa town of Decorah and moved to the Cedar Valley in 1982 to attend the University of Northern Iowa. I earned my degrees in Psychology and Criminology and worked in corrections for 33 years, retiring in March of 2019.

After watching too many episodes of House Hunters, I reached one of my bucket list goals in 2012 by passing my Real Estate exam. The rest is history.
