I was born and raised in Roland, IA and graduated from Roland Story High School. I continued my education at Iowa State University, earning a B.A. in Education. During my time at ISU I had the opportunity to play quarterback for five seasons, which taught me invaluable lessons about hard work and teamwork. Now I am very proud to serve as a football coach for Ames High School. My beautiful wife Jenna, our two boys and daughter could not be happier to call Ames home. I have spent most of my life in this area, know it well and can share that knowledge with residents and newcomers alike.
