You loathe typical real estate agent bios. Don’t worry, I do too. They’re like cardboard -- stiff, bland, and identical to every other bio out there. Instead of boasting ad nauseum about awards and accomplishments you’re not interested in, I’m taking the novel approach of actually giving you what you want -- real answers to questions you’re probably wondering right now. We’ll start with the most important one first:

Is your name for REAL?
Yep. And don't feel bad for asking this first. It's a question I get frequently. And the answer to the typical follow up question:

WHY would your parents DO THAT to you?

They didn’t. They love me very much and gave me the CUTEST name of Mindy Bea Kimble. BUT I chose to marry Josh Kidney AND change my name all on my own because 1) I love him and 2) I love making people smile - and my name definitely does that. Added bonus: GREAT conversation starter!

Will you return my calls and emails?
Yes. Without question.

I realize this is one of the major frustrations the general public has with dealing with agents. I get dozens of calls and emails daily, and I work hard to reply as quickly as possible. While I try my very best to make every client feel as if they are my only client, I’m usually working with a dozen or so people at any given time.

I’ve met many Realtors who are jerks. Are you?
This probably depends on who you ask. If you ask certain agents who have stood between my clients and their real estate goals, they'll probably say "yes". A handful of people think I leave golden footprints in the sand. Those are the two extremes. Most people will tell you I'm a good seed. I don't have a 100% love ratio, and I'm okay with that because I know I'm doing everything I can to provide the best service in our industry and that can bring out a few haters.

Here's what I can tell you: I'm honest and candid. I take pride in being approachable and friendly. And if you need a quick real estate brain, or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends is one of my core values. Want to really find out if I’m a jerk? Mess with one of those people.

Do you have experience doing exactly what I need?
Until you tell me what you need, there is no way of knowing. These are strong suits of mine:
Working with relocating families
First-time and move-up buyers
New construction buyers

If your goal or situation isn't represented on that list, don't worry. Contact me anyway. If I can't help, I can get you referred to an another fantastic agent who can. I've been actively selling real estate in Nebraska since 2007 and have a great network of contacts locally and throughout the U.S.

What kind of work are you really good at?
On a personal level, I'm pretty good at cooking. I make the BEST nachos and own exactly 7 slow-cookers, which I use on the regular. (My husband will tell you I own 14 and he's exaggerating. Drama. Queen.). Also, I'm not too shabby at binge watching shows with my husband, when I've got a free night.

    As first time home buyers, Mindy guided us through the process with expertise and made it easy and fun.     To add to all her knowledge, Mindy is super cool. Her attitude is very chill and cheerful but don't let her kindness fool you. When you need her to go to the table for you on negotiations or handling a service provider she is in it to win it and will only settle for what is in your best interest.
    I could talk her up all day because she helped us find our dream home, but honestly I suggest you just meet her and see what she's about. It's hard for me to picture a better qualified realtor.

    Mindy was great to work with. She was able to find us a house in the area and price range we liked and also talked through many options and decisions with us as we looked at houses. Mindy was able to offer a perspective and knowledge about home buying that proved to be very helpful. She was also very willing to help us through the negotiation process, while still be realistic with what we should expect. We found a home we can be in for years to come, however if we ever need a realtor again we will definitely use her again and recommend her to all our friends and family!
