This is one of my favorite places to view the Mississippi River in Burlington. Mosquito Park is one of Burlington's oldest parks. Many photo shoots frequent this special place along with many engagements and weddings. In the winter, birdwatchers come to see the eagles flying around the area. This is a must see while you are in town.

One of my favorite spots in Burlington, Iowa is Historic Snake Alley!!

Snake Alley dates back to 1894 and it's curves are sharper and steeper than that of the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco. That's why Burlington has bragging rights as having "The Crookedest Street in the World" according to Ripley's Believe it or Not. If you haven't seen it, you must the next time you visit.

Educate = Empower! I am so proud of the new Health Professions Building on the campus of Southeastern Community College!! It features 15 large classrooms, it's own built in ambulance, four conference rooms, several collaboration spaces, 16 offices, a coffee bar and much more. If you are new to this area and education is important to your family, you must learn what is offered here. Congratulations to the "Building the Dream" campaign for having the dream and making it happen for our community!"
