  • Firethorn is one of those neighborhoods that stands out in the crowd. Situated between two golf courses, the surroundings are definitely a cut above what you normally would see in town. The neighborhood itself is located on the east side of Lincoln just of off South 84th Street, a major north/south arterial giving you access to I-80, and many shopping/dining locals.

    Firethorn itself is a private course that was designed by Pete Dye back in the mid 80's. On the rare occasions I have been able to play there, it has always been in exceptional condition. West Nine is a 9 hole course also located in the Firethorn neighborhood. This course is open to the public, and is a great place to go and play if you only have a couple of hours.
