    One of my favorite things to do is to visit the neighboring Amish community, located northeast of Jesup. Just a short drive will take you back to where times are simpler. Amish Boulevard runs right through the heart of the community and features many businesses, from general store to windows, furniture makers, bakeries and more. Get off the beaten path and you'll find even more wonderful treasures. You'll enjoying seeing the many rural schools, Amish buggies, and visitors from near and far. Make sure you pick up one of the Amish Country Maps at one of the stores to help you navigate your travels. There's plenty for you to see and do.

Fairbank has a great grocery store, Casey's Gas Station, Chiropractor, small business shops, library, bank and best of all an aquatic center. Plus the Wapsie Valley Community Schools K-6 is right in town and the Jr./Sr. High School is only about six miles down the road.
