I've been in Real Estate for 23 years. Your local Newton/Jasper County agent. I love what I do and have some of the best clients in the world......I'm biased of course. Most of my business comes from referrals and past clients. I don't sell houses, I sell homes, and my business is based on relationships, not transactions. Simply put, I sell great homes to great people.
My husband Paul Sandholm and I have three daughters, 2 sons, and 11 grandchildren. I love being involved in the community. My Favorite things to do, are being outdoors, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with our family,
Cheetos and Ice Cream are my favorite foods, seriously I could eat them at every meal....
I have been actively involved on many local boards, including the past president of the Newton Chamber of Commerce, on the boards of TLC (Tender Loving Children), McCann Village, Newton Development, and Chairman of Progress Industries, a local non-profit organization. I'm currently Chairman of Progress Industries Foundation and a member of the Altoona Chamber. I belong to the National Association of Realtors, Iowa Association of Realtors, DMARR Board, CRS (certified residential specialists). I enjoy giving back to the community that has given me so much!

    Honest and upfront throughout the process. We used her to buy a house in 2006 and were so impressed, we used her to sell it almost 20 years later. She not only was the obvious choice as a realtor, but also became a friend because of it. I recommend her to anyone in her area and anyone looking to possibly buy a home or sell one. Just one awesome and understanding lady. I couldn't recommend anyone else for your realtor needs.

    Working with Geri was an exceptional experience. Her professionalism, extensive knowledge, and genuine attentiveness to my specific requirements were evident throughout the entire process. We thoroughly explored numerous properties, which allowed me to refine my preferences regarding size and features.     Geri was amazing throughout the entire process of the sale of my Dad’s home. When my Dad passed away unexpectedly we were overwhelmed with everything that would need to be done especially preparing his house for sale. But Geri put us at ease and promised us a quick sale and delivered on her promise. When she first came to look at the house she asked if we knew where the Asbtract was, which we did not. She took it upon herself to find it that same day- without even being asked! I would highly recommend Geri! She is responsive and knows the market very well!

    Geri did a wonderful job walking us through the process of first buying our new home and selling our old home directly after. She has a ton of great advice and insight! She was very willing and able to work with our schedules for showings, meetings, and anything else we needed. Geri is super responsive, which is helpful since things can move pretty quickly! We really enjoyed working with her!

    Geri did an outstanding job for us in selling our home in Newton. She went looking for buyers versus sitting back and waiting for potential buyers to call. Because she knows the Newton market so well, she got the most the market would bear for this property. Sometimes in the professional world, you know when you send someone a message, they may or may not respond. However, Geri responded promptly to every phone call, text, and email. I never not knew what was going on with the listing and selling process. More importantly, she was proactive with communication. I didn't have to go seeking information. My experience with Geri was by far the best experience I have ever had with a realtor.

    This was the second time Geri represented me as my realtor. This time, I had to quickly relocate to Florida to start a new job and my home remodeling was not even completed due to delays and she ensured everything was taken care of even before I was able to list my home and I had already left the state. I had two offers above asking the same day it was listed, and ensured everything from the offer acceptance to closing went smoothly. She made my quick transition to a new state hassle free and I didn't have to worry about a thing as I was over 1000 miles away! I would recommend Geri as the very best of the best with her knowledge, how quickly she responded and always, always has her client's needs first and foremost throughout the whole process. In fact, I'm begging her to get her license in Florida so that she'd be my realtor when I'm ready to buy a new home here!!!! GERI IS THE BEST!!!!!
