I love Benson so much. The little shops, the renovations, the updating, and the historical aspect. This little pocket in Omaha has got it going on. The location, the people, the mindset, and the lifestyle; everything about Benson is quirky, quaint, retro, hipster, historical and trendy.

If you are at all into the Bettie Page lifestyle and look, I highly suggest visiting Daisy Jones Locker. I also suggest dropping into the Paper Doll. Both of these shop owners are amazing, wonderful, successful women and will help you feel and look like a million dollars.

Have a hankering for some ice cream? No need to go to the Old Market. Ted and Wally's set up shop here, as well as Localmotive Express; yep, they share space. The Rounders are great after a night of cocktails, karaoke, watching live performances at The Waiting Room, or other late-night shenanigans!

Benson abounds with coffee shops. One of my all-time favorites is Aroma Coffee. But I will let you in on a somewhat, unknown little secret: Omaha Bicycle Company has fabulous coffee drinks and snacks as well, so bike on down and check them out.

All in all, Benson has so much to offer you hipsters, Millennials, Gen-xers and anyone else who I have forgotten to mention. Come on down and check it out.
