Omaha Children's Clinic is located on the NE corner of 192nd and Q. I have taken my daughter there since she was born eight years ago, and wouldn't take her anywhere else! Dr. John Vann, MD is simply amazing; he's thorough, kind, and straightforward in a very diplomatic way. He takes the time to hear the parents' thoughts, and gives his own professional opinion to supplement the parents' concerns.

Most importantly, my daughter is comfortable there and never dreads going to the doctor. Our wait times are minimal, the office is spacious and clean, and the staff is nothing short of compassionate and efficient. I highly recommend this pediatric office for any and all of your children's medical needs!

When I was growing up, I (along with most every other child I knew) dreaded going to the dentist. Fast-forward 30 years, and I now have an 8-year-old who absolutely "loves" going to the dentist, and it's only because The Smile Station (located on the NE corner of 180th and Harrison) has figured out how to make children of all ages appreciate going to the dentist. Their staff is patient and accommodating, and relates exceptionally well to children. I have been waiting for this gym to open for what seems like forever! West O Fitness is located on the SW corner of 180th and Harrison (in the SunRidge neighborhood, which just so happens to be my neighborhood!). It is privately owned by successful entrepreneurs and has an amazing staff who is helpful, knowledgeable and flexible with everyone's busy schedules. Membership information is as follows (so affordable!).

Individual Basic Membership: $14 per month/$29 sign-up fee. This includes free T-shirt at sign up, 24-hour access to the club, free towel and locker service, and free personal training assessment.

Individual Premier Membership: $28 per month/$19 sign-up fee. This includes unlimited access to tanning, unlimited access to Hydro Massage beds, unlimited access to group fitness classes, discounted cooler products, discounted protein shakes and supplements, two free guest passes per month, and $10 off each personal training session...in addition to the Basic Membership benefits above.

House of Hunan closed its doors to remodel. They are now back open and have added sushi to the menu. It's our favorite place for hot and sour soup in all of Omaha!

A favorite restaurant of ours is located in the Village Point shopping area. They offer a party room as well as a bright and inviting atmosphere. We enjoy the "lighter side" menu options and of course the bread and wine selection.

I have a good friend who lives in District 66 just off of 100th and Center Street. What a wonderful area with mature trees and unique homes with beautiful character. A great school district and parent support make this a favorite part of town for me.
